News and updates from Le Chéile Athletic Club. The club was founded to offer the youth and adults of Leixlip, Maynooth and surrounding areas (aged 7 and over) the opportunity to partake, regardless of their ability, in all athletics disciplines at a club, county and national level. Outside of competing, the club offers its members the opportunity to get fit, stay healthy and have a bit of fun!

New Members Welcome!
The club is currently open to new members regardless of experience or ability. We train at our track in the Leixlip Amenities Centre on a Tuesday and a Thursday evening between 18:45 and 20:15. New members are more than welcome to come and attend a few training sessions while they assess if they are interested in joining. I took part in the race yesterday and i just want to say thank you to everyone who helped organise the event ,it was very enjoyable and thanks to the tea ladies for the much welcomed cup of tea and fabulous cakes. Well done,Anne

Hi, same as last year guys, great race, well organised, cakes? pure evil whoever made the chocolate cake! (not to mention whoever was in charge of the knife when cutting the slices!!).. thank you again, and were we blessed with the weather or what! looking forward to next year already. Carole

Hi there - first time participating yesterday and have to agree it was a fabulous day, well done to everyone involved in the organisation and what a great reception at the end...will definitely be taking part in next years event, a truly great day - congrats!
