Leinster XC Even Ages - Results

Leinster even ages, novice and master Cross Country Championships took place yesterday in the ground of Avondale House, Rathdrum, Co. Wicklow.  Well done to all the Le Chéile athletes who competed. First off were Owen Mulleady and Aoileann Hayes in the Wicklow U10 race, well done guys.
U12 Girls Club teams finish 14th, Carragh Hayes 48th, Alice Flanagan 99th, Grace Clarke 102nd, Caoimhe Cronin 103rd, Ciara Mulleady 113th, Aimee Stafford 129th; U12 Girls County Team took Gold first 6 girls home score on team.
U12 Boys: Oran Hayes 90th, Callum Ledwidge 101st, Nathan Devine 118th; Kildare County 5th
U14 Girls: Eabhine Grimes 58th, Fina Hayes 88th, Ailbhe Nolan 109th ; Kildare County 7th
U14 Boys; Ciaran Connolly 72nd, Sean Cronin 89th; Kildare County 3rd
U16 Boys: Conally Hayes 18th, Darragh Nolan 27th, Patrick Flanagan 52nd, Thomas Connolly 60th
The boys U16 Club Team finished 4th and have qualified for the All-Ireland National Championships;  Kildare County Team have been listed at 4th Team; however there appears to be an error in the calculating;  I believe Kildare County U16 boys finished in 3rd position with all the Le Cheile boys scoring; (medals due).  So well done boys.

U9 Aoileann Hayes 11th, Cliona Murphy 22nd, Aoife Hession 24th; U 9 Boys Ruairi Hession 12th; Owen Mulleady 31st, Callum Thompson 36th; U11 Girls Team finish 4th; Caoimhe Cronin 11th, Grace Clarke 16th; Clara O'Donnell 22nd, Ciara Mulleady 27th, Evelyn Monaghan, Shona Byrne; U11 Boys; Niall Hession 11th, Oran Hayes 18th, Brian Grimes, Nathan Devine; U13 Girls -Carragh Hayes Eabhin Grimes 14th, Ailbhe Nolan 23rd, Alice Flanagan 26th.  Boys U13 Team Won Bronze in team event;  Conor Murnaghan 8th, Ciaran Connolly 14th, Thomas Davis 15th, Cormac Slattery 24th, Alex Byrne 28th, Ronan slattery 29th; Girls U15 - Fina Hayes 9th; Boys U15 Team took Silver in the team event; Conall Hayes 1st Kildare Champion; Thomas Connolly 9th, Liam Murphy 11th, Sean Cronin 16th; U17 Boys - Sean Flanagan 2nd, U19 Boys Conor Murphy 2nd.

 U10 girls team finish 4th; Florence 4th, Fainche Grimes 20th, Evelyn Monaghan 24th, Aoileann Hayes 28th;  Boys U10, Ind Brian Grimes 10th, Adam Nason 16th, Ryan Doyle 38th.  Girls u12; Ind Carragh Hayes 10th, Grace Clarke 28th, Clara O'Donnell 31st, Alice flanagan; U 12 Boys; Ind ; Conor Murnaghan 6th, Oran Hayes 14th; U14 Girls Fina Hayes 14th; Boys U14 Liam Murphy 11th, Ciaran connolly 19th, Thomas Davis 23rd; U 16 Boys; Sean Flanagan 1st Kildare Champion, Conall Hayes 2nd, Patrick Flanagan 4th, Daragh Nolan 8th; U16 boys won the team event also.

URGENT NEWS

The Kildare Cross Country Championships due to take place on Sunday 7th October, 2012 have been cancelled: this is due to the death of a St Cocas Athlete. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of Ciara O'Brien RIP.
