Le Cheile athlete David McCarthy achieved a new PB for 800m in Lignano Italy on Tuesday night, 20th July, 2011. David finished 5th in a time of 1.46.62 knocking .2 seconds off his previous best.

News and updates from Le Chéile Athletic Club. The club was founded to offer the youth and adults of Leixlip, Maynooth and surrounding areas (aged 7 and over) the opportunity to partake, regardless of their ability, in all athletics disciplines at a club, county and national level. Outside of competing, the club offers its members the opportunity to get fit, stay healthy and have a bit of fun!

New Members Welcome!
The club is currently open to new members regardless of experience or ability. We train at our track in the Leixlip Amenities Centre on a Tuesday and a Thursday evening between 18:45 and 20:15. New members are more than welcome to come and attend a few training sessions while they assess if they are interested in joining.
