Best of luck to the Le Chéile athletes who will be competing in the All Ireland Cross Country Championships (Even Ages). This event is being held in the Tramore racecourse, next Sunday (22nd), where our athletes will be representing themselves, our club and the county. It promises to be a very challenging event across the age categories, but we all have no doubt that athletes will do us proud.
The following, based on their performance in the Leinster Cross Country Championships, qualified to run on the Kildare County team:
Under 12 Boys
Sean Flanagan, Conall Hayes, Patrick Flanagan
Under 16 Girls
Aisling Brady
Under 18 Girls
Aine O'Connor, Erica Dixon
Best of luck, one and all, and those of us who are unable to travel to Tramore at the weekend will be thinking of you.

Aware Christmas 10k Fun Run
Each year, Aware hold a 10k fun run in Phoenix park to give the serious runners, the plodders and the walkers an opportunity to start the festive season with something postive in the name of a worthy cause. There are a number of us from the club who will join the runners and walkers on the day, and we invite anyone who may be interested in joining us to come along. The race starts at 10am on Saturday 6th of December at the papal cross.
